Guys... I've been reading this book and I find it hard to put down. It was a little difficult at first to get into it but now that I have... WOW. Definately add it to your list of things to read if you are a reader. Very enlightening.

Anyone here doing the 8/28 Restoring Honor thing in D.C.? I'm seriously considering it. Might make a weekend out of it, take the family and do some site seeing... have to see how many Hilton Honor's points I have built up and if I can afford it. Alternative is to leave very early that Saturday morning and make it a day trip. Did that last March, actually wasn't that bad to do in a day.

I had wanted to go but I just can't peel away from my home life. I think there will be an excellent turn out and it will be fun to see how the media tries to play it. I will be there with you in spirit.

Hey guys. Haven't been around in a while . . . good to hear the chatter on the upcoming 8/28 trip. I noticed some frustration with Mapes and his arguments just for arguments sake (at least that is how he comes across to me) and I have it too. Uou are not alone. I'll respond more at some point.

Nomadicus I'm loving the frustration form the left most of theri arguments lately just can't hold water with the failings of their ideology being so evident theses days. The Mosque matter is one where they may be legally correct but it just doesn't seem right deep inside. That is why you have a devout atheist arguing for the building of a mosque. Many years in the future, an old man wearing a VFW hat walked up to the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, “I would like to go in and meet with President Barack Obama.” The Marine replied, “Sir, President Barack Obama was impeached and sent to prison. He doesn’t live here anymore.” The old man said, “Okay,” and walked away.
The following day, the very same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with Barack Obama.” The Marine once again told the veteran, respectfully, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Barack Obama is in prison and doesn’t live here anymore.” The man thanked him and again walked away.
The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying “I would like to go in and meet with Barack Obama.” The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Barack Obama. I’ve told you already that he has been sent to prison. He's never coming back. Don’t you understand?”
The old veteran answered him, “Oh, I understand perfectly. It just makes me so happy to hear it.”
