ill play no matter what because i enjoy the people in this server .. and yes some argue but most just post their opinion and i wouldnt really call it arguing i would call it a Debate.. you can never get something everyone likes its impossible, but you can ask questions to get closer.. and i am still yet to meet someone from these forums that are not cool, funny or not a team player IN game

Long range snipers? - This change is a better option than the script limits. Curious to see how it affects play style.

I found the Lair after making the change from vanilla to hardcore, and have rarely played vanilla since. I'll give vanilla another try, since I like the server and the players. I always seemed to be at the losing end of the clip draining on vanilla servers - felt I couldn't ever stay alive long enough to be an effective team player. We'll see if that feeling comes back...

Vanilla is the way to go in a BF game, since they insist on this stupid separation of the modes ala Call of Duty. The most important thing about BF is teamwork, and most of the teamwork elements are crippled on their version of Hardcore. Bring on the minimap and spotting!

Add me to your friends list, i have a ton of good HC servers to play on. Had to find alternatives with he connection issues plaguing the lair as of last few months.

I wouldn't mind Vanilla, but I've gotten so used to not having a crosshair that having a crosshair again would just get in the way more than the scope of the AK-74 lol

The only thing and I mean only thing I would want from Vanilla is the ability to spot. I started using the UAV intelligently and started spotting enemies calling them out to my squad mates. To me, that's the proper way to use that thing.

Before I start getting off topic, I just want to say that I'm against vanilla. It doesn't bother me that it takes a clip to kill someone. I just don't want all that extra crap on my screen lol

If there was a way just to have spotting, I would be the happiest player on here.

It makes absolutely no sense... The recon class if used properly is meant so that you can spot enemies for your teammates. Yet on hardcore mode, you can't spot.

Someone needs to be hit with a whiffle bat on that one lmao

Infamous there is a difference between helpful criticism and being an asshat. Your posts come across without the least bit of helpful input. Please try to be a less demeaning to those who have a different opinion.

You can spot in HC. If you spot a tank and someone kills it after that you will get spotting points. Also anyone near you will hear you shout out a warning. What most don't like is the lack of a map showing the entire team the location of the spot.

lol We mean the actual triangle that gets highlighted. That way you don't just tell a person that there's a sniper in the trees, you can can show them. That would really cut down on the confusion. Of course we'd be dying a hell of alot easier lol

No you can't Niles. Once you pick HC you lose a bunch of other options.

you should have everything as if its hardcore except 3d spotting it would make it much easier to spot snipers and take them out but you do whatever you want
