    Ouch.

I need to check what mine is but it was pretty smooth (after I set everything to low and turned off motion blur).

Any difference when full-screen or windowed?

Grab yourself MSi afterburner or similar. It's not just an overclocking tool, it gives you great in depth info on most aspects of your graphics card. Core/RAM usage, temps, voltages etc.

GDDR is graphics double data rate. Basically means the RAM on your graphics card.

The system is already overclocked. I will look into it sometime. Just lazy I guess.

Odd - I can open the console, but I can not type in the window.

Never mind - I was trying to use the console while I was in the menus. Seems you can only do it while in the game.

Woohoo - a solid 5-12 FPS! And this is in Campaign mode. It's going to be unplayable in Multiplayer.

Answered my own question. Yes the FPS is a little better in windowed mode, but it stalls more often in window mode than full screen.

I returned the game for now. It is completely unplayable even in Campaign mode, it will be a slide show in Multi-player. If I want to play this, or any new game for that matter, I'm going to have to build a new PC.

What spec is your PC pace?

Really shocked by some of the FPS you guys are getting.

Not an overall great spec. The Core2 is what's killing you the most though. My old core e6750 @ 3.2Ghz struggled with BF3 with my old GTX460, in fact I think I remember it being a massive bottleneck for the graphics card.

Yeah this thing is over 5 years old, it rocked in it's day. I just have to come up with some funds to build a new one.

I'm installing my new Video card into my old PC to see what kind of difference it makes.

Will report back once I have it installed.

52-76 fps, but I'm crashing out more now.

I guess the question now is - build a completely new rig OR replace only the 3 major components. MB, CPU, & GPU.

Oh - and memory, would need new RAM for a new MB.
