    DVD burning software

What do you guys use to burn DVD's and CD's?

I used to use Nero but it doesn't work with Vista x64.

And I don't want to pay 100 bucks for their latest bloatware version (9.0)

Is the default vista burner any good?

Yeah if your burning ISO's imageburn is great. If copying DVD's I use DVDFab and if I'm actually making the DVD contents I use something like TMPCng it's kinda old but, does the trick.

Don't forget you can build images too. Which means it can practically do anything.

I just want to use it to backup data. Is the built in function the best way to go? I had an older version, like 7 or 6 I think....

If you are just going to be using it to manually copy data to a DVD, the basic functionality built into Vista should do the trick. If you want to add automation, you might want to look into getting a backup program like Titan Backup. I use Titan Backup, and it works pretty well. It has the option to backup to CD or DVD (or HDD).
