I really like the Campain. But I gave up pretty fast on Multi Player. My eyes are an old 61 and for the life of me I can't seem to see the enemy to shoot. The colors are all grey and blend in together and the enemies don't have anyway to tell them apart for me. They could at least make a color over their heads like your own team. Too bad I really wanted to play online...also it is very cool playing on 3 monitors in Surround mode...

I fully agree it can be hard to tell on some of the maps. The swamp ones aren't that bad though.
have you messed with the colors or brightness to bring them out.

when logged into the main screen hit the esc button. Then it will say platoons.

EA uses the web interface, since they don't have good control of game code. Log-in here:

I found I was already a member. Nothing to do.
Otherwise, look for "[CLR] CAINS LAIR REGULARS" in the list of friend's platoons, and then join.

I believe membership is entirely unrelated to game play. It's more for social or organizational purposes. The friends list matters for game play.

Yep that is the platoon for BF4. I should be able to find the one for BFV now. Thanks Qicmee and yes it is more a social organization.

Hmmm good idea. I haven't tried with colors, I'll give it a shot and see what happens...

In the basic video section there are "custom color" settings that can be adjusted for squad, enemy, etc.

Since friendlies all have a colored pointer above them, this might help.
I used a darker shader for friendlies, and enemies are a lovely light pink.

Yup, that worked well.
EA wants us to join a BF5 platoon, besides the web-based BF platoon. Okay.
