I just tried it, and it tells me the Open Beta starts Thursday...
I'm with you guys, I'm reluctant to order early anymore. I don't enjoy 'quick join' with a bunch of assholes, I miss playing with you guys.

I never use Quick Join. I find a few servers that I like to play on and make them favorites. Rarely do you find a squad that talks. Most of the Clans that do communicate use the their own private Discord channels.

The Beta is good, still little word on a server rental program though which is a big deal. I was able to play a bit with Goldenfooler today, in game VOIP is a bit borked at the moment. The current RSP for BF1 is extremely limited, as you well know there are very limited tools for admins, I will be surprised if any new program gives admins more flexibility. I played with the settings and turned off all the extra stuff like film grain and such. Finally got it smooth. Found that you can upgrade your weapon to make it faster. Honestly, it's still on par with BF1. I like it better now, but still not all that interesting.Comment

Yeah there is the Customize screen where you can add camo and sights, and there is from the main menu "Your Company" where you would be able to customize your character (in full game) and upgrade your weapon. Stuff like faster ADS or being able to Bayonet charge or have a Bipod. You have to have points kinda like Warbonds were in BF1.Originally posted by goldenfooler View PostComment
