I started when I was 16. Rifle, Shotgun and pistol ammo. Your choices of ammo is really expanded with reloads. I used to shoot a really nice Hornady 130 grain fully jacketed hollow point boat tail. It had great ballistic properties.
I doubt they even make it any more.
And I got better patterns reloading shotgun ammo.
      Apache

Where do you put the Bayonet?
Chesty Puller (upon seeing a flamethrower for the first time)

Ahhhh, nice xd then. I'm kind of lagging behind on new gun research: I figure I'm less likely to buy more if I don't look!

Today while I was hauling my flooring around I was thinking how this marketing gimmick is directly targeted at the armed manchild.

I just got my press running smoothly for 40 cal pistol when I broke the shell plate index nub off of the drive hub. I emailed Hornady and asked to buy one. they shipped me one for free

That's funny but true. If I was shopping for ammo, I probably would have bought that if I saw it too.

Glad to see that there are some firearm lovers such as myself in this community. I am an avid collector and reloader myself.

                  GOOD STUFF!

Hornady and RCBS are great companies indeed.

True. If I had arms in the house, I'd have those. :P

Can you imagine the burglers? If you popped one of them with a round like that, then had to stand up in court...

I started using RCBS Reloading Equipment in 1973 and they are still the best.

                              Lol!

However, in a case like that I think I'd just want fmj so I could put a whole 30 mag into him before he stops kicking.
