    Duke,

    You should try one of those rounds on something like one of those gallon keggers filled with water, to see what kind of separation/expansion they have when hitting something half-solid. Would be kinda fun to see!

          No worries, my wife has been complaing about this desk for a long time but I just can't see getting new one until we move. This thing was $79.00 when I got it so I can't complain about it too much. I just need to remember that the next one must have a finish that wont wear off after placing a sticky note on it.

            I'm right with ya on the ugly desk. I got mine free on craigslist and haven't bothered to buy a new one yet. Form over fashion!

                If you come down to NJ I might have a nice desk for you.
                I work off a 5ft long 3 foot wide desk with a right hand therm bulb end. the one extra I have access to is about the same size just no end differences. Weights like 40#'s.

                  My wife bought me a roll top computer desk when I got my first computer. I am still using it and it still looks brand new.
