I've found I can really crank out the straight walled S&W .40 rounds. I think I did 500 rounds in two hours. As an added bonus I get 900 rounds out of a pound of gunpowder instead of 200 .308 rounds.

Yep the case prep is 1/2 the battle. I have been thinking about getting a handgun to slip into my range bag to add to my plinking activities.

So since you mentioned this. What type of reloading equipment do you like best or have you used? I have thought about reloading but never started buying the equipment since I'm pretty ignorant on what to get.Originally posted by mapes View PostI've found I can really crank out the straight walled S&W .40 rounds. Seriously though. I have a progressive press. Once it's setup I might as well churn through all my brass.

This is the press my father has and it is a well made machine. At some point I would like to get one myself but I have too much elses on my plate theses days.
