"The bill would provide, subject to exceptions, that commencing February 1, 2011 the delivery or transfer of HANDGUN ammunition may only occur in a face-to-face transaction,"
It goes on to say that it is a misdemeanor and blah blah. I really dont wanna read that whole thing, I dont know if it says anything about other types of ammo, so it may only be handgun. And, I am pretty sure I remember getting a letter from a company(cabellas maybe) saying that they are going to stop shipping to CA. It probably was in January or Feb, when it was being enacted.

The bill was veto'd or overturned as non constitutional. Although some mail order places have said they won't deal with CA anymore. Not sure which ones.

The site I linked is not a online store per se. It polls a bunch of sites and shows you which is cheapest. Give ammoseek.com a whirl. I wanted to get new brass for reloading. I like the Federal American Eagle cases. Through ammoseeker.com you can search on cartridge and manufacturer. I got a bunch of the stuff at 50 cents a round.

Hey fellas, I was just wondering if any of you ever have a get together to fire off some rounds? Way back when several of us traveled to a fellow GoD to stay a couple of days fired off lots of AK rounds and got to put a face to the name kinda thing.

Not too many people in my neck of the woods. Though I will be going up to the MO/Iowa boarder this weekend to shoot some clay's and get some target practice in with my 9mm . Oh and there may or may not be alcohol and 30 pounds of smoke ribs involved in the evenings.

If I can mapes, I would love to bring my 870 up there to that skeet range you posted those pics of a few months back. Would definitely tell you if I did. Or if I go up to markleys to shoot some handguns Ill let you know.

I ordered 500 Estate Super Sport Target Shotshells from Cabela's for about $120. It was $54.99 for 250.
Also got a sling-swivel attachment for my 870. havent put it on yet, so its not in this photo. It actually came with one on the butt, but, not on the tube cap.
