    HLX Points

    Cain i understand why you have lowered the hlx point loss from 1/2 to 1/4 with a lot of people whining about losing points. But personaly i believe the points should be put back to 1/2 loss because this causes the better players to be able to climb the ladder much faster and also creates a level of about equalness(positions35-20 right now) where a lot of the better players are constantly changing position.


    i want to know what you all think the amount of points lost per death should be or any other hlx point changes.

    Well I had it set to full, then 1/2 and now it is 1/4

    For guys who die A LOT like me, it keeps us from constantly going backwards !!

      I actually agree with you. I die a lot but I also make a lot of points, so I was climbing, even though I lost a lot of points.

      Although I do think that even with 1/4 the points good people will still be on the top

        I think it will become whoever plays the most will be on top, i have seen it happen on another server before.

          Yeah, I have seen it too, and I worked my anus off losing 50 pts a death, now all these new peeps are losing 1\4 of that ~_~.

          I guess that will keep the global interest @ par.

          I remember having 22 kills and 2 deaths and losing pts :P, so from that aspect it isn't bad @ all.

            i know but earlier today i went 19:32(bad round trying soldier) and i still was up 400points wasnt sentry hunting or notin

                Is there any way to set it to 1/3 of the points? That seems to be the only compromise here. I like both 1/2 and 1/4 for different reasons. With the 1/2 points it raises the challenge level of climbing the ranks, but with 1/4 points it allows me to constantly climb the ranks. As far as most fair goes though, I think that 1/2 points would be the best. At most a person will only lose 25 points in a death, and it makes sure that the ranking is closer to accurate because the better players will keep rising regardless of how many points they lose for a death.

                  Or the other compromise make it 1/2 but lower the max points for someone to get from say 50 to 40
