Stealth Boy Update

The Perception Rating of whatever is around you determines if they see you or not.

You need to Sneak and Walk to use it most effectively.
I was in the National Archive (I dont know the name of the building- but you know what I mean) came out from the basement and the place is crawling with Super Brute Mutants.

I quicksaved, then experimented with the Stealthboy.

Watch the output above- When it says caution- just dont move until it says hidden again.

I places frag mines at perfect distance all over the room which ajoins 3 additional rooms. There was 1 in the main room, and at least 6 in total. I shot the one closest to me when I was done with my 10mm handgun. All hell broke loose, and they were screaming yelling and dying.

One managed to make it to the room I was in and I just hit V and did a headshot and it was over....

I'm a little disappointed to see nobody talking about dogmeat, it looks like I'm the only one who found him.

As I was doing the Wasteland Survival Guide quest I ended up in a scrapyard and found 3 raiders beating him up, so I killed them and now he follows me around everwhere.

Scrapyard is directly south of Minefield.

I just picked up my 6th Bobblehead. Need to explore more to get others. They need a higher level limit though: I'm already halfway between 18 and 19, out of 20 possible levels, and I've still got a gigantic amount of places to go find and more than half the main quest to still complete.

I have no real interest in Dogmeat, so I haven't sought him out. I saw early on that he can be put in harm's way pretty easily, and I don't want to mourn over my virtual dog as I toss what's left into the nearest irradiated puddle.

Im in the museum of technology and a little bit annoyed with the layout of the place. It's a total rat truck- The Brutes have complete advantage.

I am starting to agree with Tim from Ctrl-Alt-Del in that it seems the game is made to be played more then once, basically go through some parts to get to 20 and beat the game, then make a new character and hit the other places. Personally I dislike that approach, but it does seem like how they made the game.

Woah woah woah! I've had Dogmeat FOREVER! He's my bait so I don't have to keep healing during battle! Just let him tank and use one stimpack on him when hes low on hp.

He's two squares south of Minefield! Listen for barking and raiders attacking him.

Why leave him at home, he's sooooo useful! If hes low on hp just run up to him and talk to him even in combat and heal him. He's the perfect tank!

I just took him to the RobCo factory and he was quite useful. He truly is mans best friend.
