I'm not particularly fond of where they are taking the Super Mutants. At least, I hope there are some mutants like the ones in Fallout 2, rather than just being large scary generic bad guys. Time will tell.....

It's a slow starter...the Citadel bored me to tears, and had no urge to play it for a couple of days. But once I got in the ship and started cruisin'...I got hooked pretty fast. Unfortunately the weapons are disappointing since they are all just differently colored versions of the same model. Pffft.

The farther you get in, the more weapons (and models) are available and the better the upgrades get. And the better biotic/tech powers really spice the combat up

I'll agree that its a slow starter though.....kinda needs to be though. Its a pretty big game, and if they were to just dump you right into the middle of it, you'd drown in the sea of information and options pretty quickly. You do have to like exploring and searching things out for yourself a bit to truly get everything out of this game though.....very little hand-holding. But then again, I like that

Well, they are highly pixelated scans from a magazine. I wouldn't use them as any real indication of the final product's quality. That said, it probably won't have quite the "wow" factor of other games in terms of eye candy. What it WILL have though is scale. While I enjoy pretty games, I much prefer that graphics power be put into creating bigger / more detailed worlds.

And +1 to the comic pace...seen it before, still funny and somewhat true

Well I think we can all agree about one thing here is that we can get sucked in by those great ss and like Trashdragon said then the game may suck.
