I might have to order it soon. The different realism aspects sound pretty cool, as does the BF2-like tactics and larger maps. Local Best Buy doesn't have it, so I'll have to get it online somewhere.

Okay, Duke, I will do that. I'm downloading OF2 now...I went ahead and ordered it on steam. My steam name is "orderofskud"...lame, I know, but I just wanted to set something up and play my damned game!

K, thank you, I'll check it...games still downloading...just at about 25%...I'll have to hit the hay soon, work early...I'm looking forward to checking this thing out, would be cool to hook up with you and maybe some other CLRs...looks kind of BF2-ish!

loaded it up, and it looks great! A lot of controls to map out on my keyboard yet...but I did run up a hill and shoot a guy, took his gun, his supplies, lol...looks a lot like the old Operation Flashpoint, only better...nothing like the Arma (I haven't tried Arma II, so nobody get offended). I'll talk more later...work soon.

You can download arma 2 demo from steam.
Ill wait to buy this since I dont have any money coming in atm and the demo wont come out for another month.

I've just poked around a bit, trying to set up most of the straight combat things like I have all my shooters setup (options/controls/keyboard layout). There are a lot of extra options that I'll have to figure out where to ergonomically place, lol. Busy with work yet today, and the next couple...but I'm hoping to get online sometime soon and maybe run around with you, Duke or Moe, or anyone else that gets this...maybe we can figure some stuff out.

I have just played the single player a bit so far. I will venture to some co op sometime soon. It's defiantly not for your typical nade spamming teeny boppers.
