IMO its the best open world game i have EVER played. if you actually go and try to do all of the side missions it is a rather long game, and the story is pretty in depth.

The stupidest game ever. For the entire time i played, i wasn't killed ONCE! No matter in how many crowds i jumped. NADA. By default you are in some sort of GOD mode... Such a retarded game....

well bobytt have you tried on hard mode yet? adds some challenge to it.

Yes i did. And no change. You cant die as long as you keep hitting them As simple as that. And super soldiers are joke , the tanks are joke... The game is meaningless. Game play is pretty much non existing. The only cool thing is the open world that you can go around

I was actually playing the game from this morning til about a few hours back. I mean what is everyone talking about? This game is too much fun. I spent 2 hours running around throwing cars at people (I even was disguised as a woman for most of it, a personal hobby of mine ). I should really play the missions tho. Graphics aren't Crysis, but still very nice looking. Running up walls = awesome. If you like GTA, you're gonna love this one.

@bobby, what game did you ever like? Nothing cuts it out for you. Go play Pong.

I love the game guys. Loads of fun for me. Sure it has it's flaws but who wouldn't like pretty much auto aim when you master automatic weapons. One shot, one kill! lol...I was laughing to hard, thinking I was Neo!

COD4 was truly amazing game. I cant wait longer foe MW2 , anyway i used to like a lot SWAT4 because of the arresting. BF2 , Rainbow Six series were pretty cool. Cod5 was cool when you had to deal with the tanks. And many others. But Prototype is just dump. I played for hours and i doesnt die once, The only one that gave me hard time was the Mother. and thats for the whole game.

I personally like the game. I'm a fan of open world games and GTA4 so this game was great. It's just fun to run around and consume people, and also even though the game is pretty short there is a bunch of challenges to complete which are kind of fun. If anything the game is definitely a rent.

Arresting people in games is fun! They just dont make these games anymore. Whenever I play GTA IV I think "wow they should make a police chronicles out of this engine."

See, I think that's one of the cool parts of the game. The game gets intense, but yet it's still one of those games that allows you to relax (does anyone understand what I'm talking about? haha). Sure, it's not a game I see anyone playing obsessively, and now that I beat the story and did a bunch of the little Events I probably won't play it much more. I guess in that regard it would make a good rental on a console if you have one. But I had a lot of fun taking on hoards of helicopters and single-handedly destroying a military base without dieing. HUGE amounts of chaos, and it's easy to do. Those killing streaks were a great time to test out the new upgrades I unlocked and things like that.

I guess it boils down to a game that's good if you want to relax and cause some chaos, and one that's not so good if you want a tough challenge?

if you guys are looking for a challenge, try out the STALKER series, ive only played the first one Shadow of Chernobyl and i probably died easily 100 times through the course of the game. a word of warning though, if you dont have 40-60 hours to invest in a game dont even bother, but the story is amazing and keeps you asking for more. oh and there are EIGHT endings you can get!!!!!!
