We were playing survival - it is a lot of fun when you get CLR's playing together. We went 2 rounds in a row with gold medals and no dying!

Edit: What the HELL ??? I couldn't join any games, so I restarted Steam .. no dice. I then removed the L4D demo, assuming that caused an issue with the full version. Now the game does not even appear in my Steam list, under installed or even available !! ARGHHHHHH @!!

That was a lot of fun, altho as I feared I drug down my team with my lack of familiarity with each and every map.

When we switched to Versus, I was even worse, as I didn't know how to use each of the special zombies abilities.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out. I had a lotta fun, and we'll do it again tonight and I'll try and learn these maps a bit. It pays to watch how your teammates set up an ambush to dish out some damage.
