hardcore is much better..... one thing though.... anyway you could lessen the spawn times? with it being team deathmatch, I don't really see a reason why there is a 10 second respawn timer. Gets kinda frustrating just sitting there sometimes.

Oooh, that'd be nice. Like, Baconoclock, GhostRain, and some others, I'm not too big of a fan of the hardcore mode. It's a camp, and I prefer to rush. Things like shotties with a range of 8 feet become even more useless because a guy can nick you with a pistol or a paper weight and drop you before you get to him. Having a vanilla server as well as an HC would allow for greater range in weapon sets and perks, etc. Variety = longevity and getting one's money out of the game.Originally posted by juneau View PostComment

I think a little variety couldn't hurt, I think there are several groups here wanting something different. We all want to play lair servers, and with 2 servers I think we're in a fortunate situation where we can make everyone happy some of the time instead of just some of the people all of the time.

I prefer HC precisely because it cuts down on the constant chaos that is a run and gun server. If you ask me, it takes more skill to have a good game in a HC server than a regular server. Personally, I prefer to do a combination of rushing and camping, but without a HC server, it's all rush, all the time.Comment
