This is why I'm looking forward to the next edition of Crysis. I really hope the online game play is good since I believe it will be a game for playing a sniper and should be realistic, since locating a real life sniper is a serious task to accomplish it could be a kewl game to play.
You could be standing right by a real sniper and you wouldn't even know it until they slit your throat.

It doesn't matter if you camp, run n gun, bunny-hop, nade spam, flash or stun, snipe or anything else, someone will be there screaming NOOB!

As far as I'm concerned, if you killed me in an interesting way, or with skill, you'll see a ns, n1, nn or nk from me.

People are free to whine as much as they please, but really, the complaining is twice as annoying as the nade spam any day.

Alright, I'm not bashing campers. I just can't seem to comprehend how it can be entertaining to sit behind some object watching one area, and just waiting until someone comes through then just clicking a couple times to get the kill. I can understand if it was a match of some significance, like a tournament or something, but on Cain's servers it's fairly laid-back. I dunno, maybe I just think it's more fun to go out hunting people (perhaps even running in a circle or two) than to just wait around doing nothing.

You're right, it would be fun to run and gun while hunting people, but the fact is I am simply not good enough to do that. My reflexes cannot compete with many of the people on these servers. This has forced me into more of a "hide and seek" play-style that many people hate. I have been playing online FPS's for years, and in all that time I have yet to even be able to compete with CQB and run/gun players. So in the end, I find it much more enjoyable to come out with a positive K/D ratio instead of getting massacred.

What you haven't stated...

1.) Campers don't move because they don't have to. People will come to them, and their FoV is much greater then that of a CQB player's.
2.) Campers enjoy being called campers because that's what they are.
3.) Camper don't think they do well in CQB because they focus on long range, but in a long range fight I bet they would win.
4.) Campers don't need fast reflexes because they have the time to aim because of the distances they are covering.
5.) All of this has been proven because I play both styles... When you play both styles and enjoy both playing styles you tend to learn a few things about avoiding each style if you need to.
