game preformance improvments

Any one got any tips to improving game performance
heres 1 that I know helps by changing your fps in the game

/com_maxfps 100 to 1000

Is there more and just what will it do

Any 1 know how to increase the jump hieght

increase the jump height? isn't that cheating???

Don't feel it is if its something in the games config like the /com_maxfps 100 where that it can be changed through the ~ panel
Its optimizing the system

I feel a cheats where they down load an auto aim assit or auto aimbot
A program thats not included on the COD4 disk

If I'm wrong then plz let me know
