Hey guys

I just wanted to say cya to the fine people here.

I've had enough of this game and can't take it anymore so I uninstalled the game from my machine tonight and broke the COD4 disk vowing I'll never play this game again. I just get too wound up playing it and lately the amount of grenades and martydoms put me over the top. It just isn't fun for me anymore.

So I wish you all the best and I really tried to enjoy this game but I can't......I'll stick to flying and sub sims.

Moe (Keep your chin up my pink tu tu friend), Jeffro(I'll still send ya good email ) and all the others...............I Salute ya.

In seriousness,it was a sad day when the BF2 server went down. I thought that would end my stint on these forums, but something keeps calling me back here 5 times a day. What I am saying is, nobody can play the same game consistently forever, but I hope you stick around and see what the next game Cain hosts will be.

Did you try HQ? You might have liked it since there are fewer players.

Sorry to hear your getting so annoyed with this game. I think however that you should have just taken a break instead of uninstalling and breaking the disc.

If you want a game that is a bit slower paced and not a nade spam fest, give Insurgency a try. Its built off the Half Life 2 engine, so its a bit dated, and its still in beta.

But its a great change of pace! Cain has a server up and running and a few of us play on most nights.

seriously, that is in my top 3 of all time gaming experiences in 10+ years of online gaming. ( How is it that I've existed this long without a place like Cains Lair????)

Anyways- remember to visit the Arcade, WoW is a great low key game, and there will be other games.

Well sucks to see u leave COD4 I had fun on the field with you. Hope you stick around the Lair as I know there will be games here in the future that will satisfy you. I too was in the same frame of mind you are in about COD I jus took 2 weeks off to play FSX and I stopped in COD last night and realised how much I missed it. By the by, breaking your disc does seem a bit extreme, but if you were going to do it, you should have grabbed a shotgun and treated it like a clay pigeon.

Ya if I had the shotgun to do it I woulda after the state of mind I was in last night. I'm kinda regretting now that I did what I did.....I wonder if system restore back a day would work?cause I know I don't need the disk anyhow to play offline.....hmmmmmm. I guess us Canucks don't fool around eh!

Ahhhh....no WOW for this kid.....I have enough with IL21946, Silent Hunter 3 & 4. Beside I'm not into that roleplaying scheme....been there done that playing D&D in my younger days. Besides....doesn't it cost $$ to play WOW online....I think you get 3 months free but pay to play online....just seems stupid to me.

I didn't buy the game.. been playing the trial.. FOR FREE... without the trial running out on the CLR wow server...FOR FREE... You can play the trial version unlimited on a private server such as the CLR server.

I feel the same way about paying to play for a subscription fee like that. I wouldn't have otherwise tried the game.

If you have a buddy that will let you hold his disk for a minute, you could reinstall cod4 with your key. I have done it for a friend after his disk got scratched.

Sweet I do have a bud that lives in Edmonton....I'll call him.

I know I have my profile saved on my memory stick....so at least I'll still have my level 55.

I think I just better start drinking while playing....at least it loosens me up
