Another PB noob thread

I've been through the punkbuster sticky and I think I've done everything ok but I'm still getting booted from cod4 for "Punkbuster reports PB server running old version u.c2.032". I've manually run pb, added cod4, updated, downloaded those two windows 32 bit file into the htp folder, run that test program and still no joy. Any ideas?

Chops is having the same issue....he can play on every other server but ours with the same message...could be Server side issue but I think someone just needs to contact PB and explain

Please make sure that the servers that you CAN connect to are definitely PB servers. I can't see how it can be JUST the cainslair server. If it is ALL pb enabled servers, then it is your stuff, but if it is only Cains.. then there is either something wrong with a config file on YOUR system, or either there is something wrong with cainslair... and you'd be hard pressed to convince me that it is the game server that is causing the issue.

Try deleting the cainslair server from your favorites... THEN click OFF of the favorites to the public servers... THEN click on REFRESH.. (not quick refresh).

If that doesn't work try, instead of clicking on the game server in the list, enter the I.P. address manually and see if you can connect that way.

Maybe Cain can see something in the logs to find out what's going on, but you'll have to talk to him about that.
