single shot weapons

I accidentally set up one of my classes in a hurry and I had Stopping Power and Deep Impact perks set and was playing with the scorpion.. I wasn't doing too well with it, but I found a dropped ... M21 with an ACOG on it and I fired one shot and thought "aww man I'm dead this sucks" because there were no other weapons around, but I thought.. oh well I'll hold up as long as I can in this one spot.

I Fired One Shot.. boom.. killed him from across the map.... Second Shot ... dead... Third Shot... dead... and I couldn't believe it. . I had already been killed 3 times and when I finally ran out of ammo I was killed right when the round ended. I went 14 and 4 with that one gun. I'll have to check into that a little more.

Not true, but they are indeed stronger. I've been shot in HC and lived a bunch of times.


As for the topic, the G3 seems easier to aim (for me) but has a way slower RoF

No, if you hit someone in the chest with a G3 or M14 it should be a 1 hit kill, I do it all the time when im in HC. If you put stopping power on with those then it is definately a 1 hit kill.

That depends on the range of the gun. If you shoot someone in the head witha UZI froma cross the map. Would take a few shots tto kill him. I don't know why but it works that way.

I actually found I liked using the red dot sight over the ACOG with both the M14 and the G3. Actually, I don't like using the ACOG for anything other than a couple of the sniper rifles. Really though, it comes down to personal choice. Of the 2, I prefer the M14...not really sure why that is lol.
