Yeah, 50/50 is probably right. Really depends on the day, the map, and who's on what team. Makes for more fun though, I enjoying sparring with players of incredible skill....iron sharpens iron

BTW...I always try to hunt one of the two down when I play.
Just sucks when they are both against me. Then I'm in hell!

Depends...are they saying it in good fun? When I say it, I'm joking. I used to use the things all the time in America's Army and got quite good at them in that game. I just like busting chops.

It's like tanking. People hop in a tank or play the tube a round or two, get some kills, and think it's easy, and that you have no skill by using them. But what they don't realize is that it takes a hell of a lot of skill (in either) to be truly good with them.

The way I view it is, if they're so easy, how is it I can count on less than one hand the number of tankers I've encountered (in any game) who are close to me?

I can't help if this thread I started keeps getting longer :P. I guess its a place for ppl to vent off if I nail them with the noob tube : P

From the looks of things, I am on the "Kill on Sight" list of many ppl in Cain's Lair. Kill me less, I will use the noob tube less : P

Hey... Nothing personal Aquataine. Tube or not, If I know where you
are going, I'm coming after you ANYWAY.

It is a THRILL to kill the top players. If I had a dancing command,
I'd be doing that over their corpses. (Like WOW has)

As said, it is much harder to pinpoint and isolate the top Dawgs,
as they are the run and gun type usually.

Snipers and Tubers are JUST MY FAVORITE KILLS.
(Even if they aren't the big bad top Dawgs)
I DO tend to VOIP advise of Tubers on the High road, etc..
This keeps people from (Hopefully) bunching up in that area, making
the Tubers have less ownage. With that extra explosive damage, a
single tube can take out 5-6 people bunched up.

A mote point on Vacant, as you are getting nades, bullets, and tubes
flying from every direction anyway.

I have to admit, just seeing this thread made it a personal challenge to seek out a kill or two on Aquataine.

Actually, I'm happy getting anyone with a CLR in their name. Probably because I don't think I'm that good a player, so I feel good when I get a kill on someone with a clan-type moniker.

So I might go after someone specific, but not in a "I'm so pissed" kinda way. My revenges are not anger-motivated. I have a lot of fun with this game, and I really like playing in the Cain server room... thing.

Meh, I dont think I am that good of a player but I try my best to play competently. Only players that I have a score to settle with is 56kDemon, who has a knack of ramming his knife into my plump rear end. As far as I can tell, ppl have called me bunny hopper when i use the shotgun, noob tuber when i use the uh noob tube and a hacker with the p90. Oh well. I am not that hard to kill, just let your other teammates distract me and I am easy for the picking.

I agree with that bone to pick with 56k demon. He gets kills, especially knifes like it is no big thing. I have been killed by you more times than i would like to count. Thats not to say that I havent gotten you my fair share of times too. lol. Every time you get me with that dang noob tube, I always make sure to lob a friendly grenade your direction to get you back.

The only thing I cant stand about 56k is that I dont hear him coming at least with me if you hear that thumping sound or see thin twisty smoke trails thats probably me playing with the noob tubes
