Cant see for the spam... extra text on screen?

I get the joke but... does not really apply to what i was saying...
Not saying i cant 'the' spam, its in the way, and its always flooding in...

Did a quick google on error message. Some people have linked this to using RivaTuner, and said they fixed by tweaking settings. If you use RivaTuner, I suggest completely removing it and checking. If the problem goes away, install RivaTuner and tweak settings, making sure you don't get that error. One other thing, apparently the latest graphics drivers are not supported by RivaTuner, so make sure to use the latest driver that is supported by RivaTuner.

If you don't use RivaTuner, try updating your graphics drivers.

Also, you can try disabling smoke edges in the COD4 options.

Does that eliminate the error, or eliminate you seeing the error? (i.e. do you still see that message in console?). Just curious. At least you can see the game now!

what i was seeing was the console spam, and yes its gone totally.

was not meaning the error messages, thats prob cos i have my settings above what they say i should run.

If you look at it you will see its a console output as it has all the death messages as well.

Also it was showing my punk buster spam too

i had the same problem but when the round finished it went away.
