Punkbuster Problem

Hi guys, I'm actually having big problems with Punkbuster.

When I join a game, it says that there is a Service Communication Failure. I tired everything, updated all my PB files, but the problem is persisting.

Can you please help me, I'm so freaking tired of all this!!!

Did u manually update as well as using PBsetup??

Try rebooting after u manually update the files...this happens to me sometimes. It wont last long, but it is a pain in the butt

Every time I get this I update and reboot. It usually clears it up.

Try uninstalling PB and then using PBsetup....


EDIT: one more thing you could try, uninstall COD4 and reinstall + patch....

ya did that already lol. Anyway I found a nice server that don't use Punkbuster.

Ok guys, I'm really sick of PB. I've just manually updated it and still give me an error message. Can anyone help me please?

Im outa ideas 6. What i did was wait an hour or so and then it worked for me. Didnt even have to update.

Update manually then once it's finished, reboot and update again.

I cant really guide you- but the ONE time had this happen I had to run through the Registry and delete every entry of PB I could find.

Then I did a clean reinstall and it never happend again.

If your running vista make sure that punkbuster is running w/ admin privileges as well as CoD4mp.exe
