BF2 update v1.50 out Sept 1st

ttp are nice. lots of good players and I think the rules are fair for the circumstances.(a war game??)

I reinstalled BF2 after the patch came out. I didn't see any problems, but I didn't really play it a lot; I didn't find a server I really liked.

check out the texas teamplayer servers. The only major diffs between they're server rules and Cains is UCB rape is fine and cursing is ok. Most folks are friendly and they have numerous admins on. FF on. You must squad up or be kicked.

I think a lot of us here play on the TTP servers. I think that was said in an earlier post.
Many people still play, a lot more than any other BF game probably.

Generally the game is quite stable now apart from the occasional squad bug but no biggie

I've played at least 10 hours since the patch and I haven't seen any cartillery.

The only problem I did encounter was a bug where one team couldn't form squads, and the game crashed somewhere during that round or the next.

Yea I hadn't seen anything about the update on the usual sites. Glad I found out about it on here. I miss BF2, and this update seems to have brought it back from the dead. Tons of people online again.
