Apparently with the updates I can now set a limit on how many kills someone can get with then Gustov over a set period of time, to stop players from spamming the thing the entire round.

If I'm ever kicked for using the Gustav too much I'll just end up not playing. I don't use Gustav that much, but when I do it's because I can't get another weapon out.
Limiting this might be an issue if it comes to destroying tanks.Comment

To be honest it wouldn't really solve anything. Numerous players will use them so you get killed by a gustov just the same as you would by limiting it. It all depends on your location.
I get sniped more than I do killed by a gustav. I'm just stating my opinion on this. I honestly think it would be the same as the sniper limit. You get killed just about the same lolComment

Uhmm... I'm with Niles on this one, limiting CG kills won't solve anything. You get killed the same. If you start limiting CG (and other rocket thingies), then you have limit the use of the grenade launcher, and even vehicles, some people get on tanks and destroy the enemy team by themselves
Limiting snipers makes sense because they tend to stay on a position the whole time, instead of moving forward to help your team. Limiting CG or other weapons will only spam us with more messages in the chat about the limitations...

dont think limiting gustuv will do much but anger people .. i dont think its that much of an issue at all really plus the new players have to get kills somehow they dont just instantly know how to run out and be pro.. limit sniper they will go to gustav or 40mm spam limit those they wont even come...sigpic

Look I hate the gustov. I HATE that weapon. Im killed by it constantly. But it is part of the game and people use it because it is an effective weapon. If you start limiting certain aspects of the game then that takes away from the game. I would love to see the gustov limited but I think it would hurt the server more and thats something I dont want to see. Just my opinion.We work in the dark, to serve the light. We are Assassins.

The CG doesn't bother me much. Yes at time it is very annoying, but I don't believe it is a large enough nuisance to limit.
I guess you would have to worry about the edge cases. For instance, say I get 3 double kills in 4 minutes. Thats 6 CG kills in 4 minutes. I'm only 4 away from the "10 kill ban", even though I "feel" like I've only killed `3` because I've only shot `3` rockets.
Have people been lamenting about this? I don't care, one way or another.Comment
