    Slow Turrets? See inside

    http://forums.penny-arcade.com/discu...mment_14384268

See this thread. Make sure you click "Show" for the sake of seeing all of the code. It requires some ini editing of three different files. Once you edit those files, you may need to tweak them to get smooth aiming.

Secondly, there is this configuration tool.

Within this tool, is a GUI-based editor to get the turret speed to be faster. Might be easier for those that don't like the idea of hand-editing the ini files. I have done both methods, and the GUI tool does work just fine, and I would suggest it for ease and quickness. The GUI tool also gives more options beyond what is available in the game, including FOV and various other graphical tweaks.

    I hope this helps.

From reading the responds, looks like the program still have issues.

I just use the faster dpi setting on the mouse

Yea that works for me too, just click one notch up. But I dont mess with tanks much so turrets aint that much of an issue. Some folks don't have quick change dpi, so the setting may benefit them.

For me, I bump the DPI up to twice my normal amount when in a tank, and it still seems too slow.

It's slow but I just accepted it as part of the game and dealt with it. May explain why I don't like their armor nearly as much as BF2 armor though.

I personally never experienced the issue, and know three others that have used it without an issue. This is more for those that don't have DPI, or the care to set it up (like myself).

I like the extra options that are available as well.

I think I bump mine up to to about 5 times my normal amount. The RAT 7 which I use also has a steady aim thumb button. So when the turret is cranked up I can flip it all around. When I find a target I press the thumb button and it returns it to normal while the button is depressed.

                    Jealous?

I don't think that would be that comfortable for my hand.
                      But the keyboards look good.

I think I need to get to some computer show to try out these keyboards... I just can't get the right one.

I feel bad that Dell is the best one I found.

I was going to pick one of those up - R.A.T. 7 - but I read some reviews on NewEgg, and they said they broke quickly
