Newer Rotation 6/18 !

OK, OK, I got so much feedback about Harvest Day and Oasis, and how so many folks love those two maps, that I added them back to the rotation....

Here is the new rotation for the weekend.

Laguna Presa seems to be uber-snipefest (missing Oasis).

I think the more maps the better. With the amount of "24/7 ______" servers out there I think you can pick any map server you want. I know for me when it's 3-4am and the Lair is dead I'm looking for non-HC 24/7 Oasis servers (I need about 20 more squad spot assists).
I don't think we can discount that it might not be so much that people aren't joining/leaving because of the maps, but because of the time of day or other random circumstances.

when harvest day popped up i will say quite a few people said arrrr i hate this map and we lost about 3-4 players when it came up i personally like it but maybe the majority don't oasis gets mixed reviews some love it some hate it
and lunga presa when me , duke, mini and Schultz where on there it was very very hard to get anyone to join and it was a snipe fest lol but we will see how they go

I might just take us back to our standard rotation..... But Arica Harbor has done very well, so it may stay.

*IF* I can get the server dumping under control, or at least minimize it, we will stay pretty busy.

Oasis is definitely a love/hate map at least for us.

Oasis is what everyone stays for when it comes up. Lot more action and less camping. It's a relief from runnin across the big maps. Hard to hide in a building when everyone has 40mm nade launchers and rockets. They dont last long campin in bldgs. It dont take long to get to em if they kill you one time.

Laguna has a lot of snipers too but they are easily flanked because of the cover. But it's still a problem.

Panama Canal,Oasis,Atacama Desert are the best 3. We dont lose many players on those. Could be other factors as to why the stats are telling you otherwise, but thats what I see.

Could be a crappy team getting owned that makes em quit on Oasis. Could be time of day or night. Could be other things I dont know if the stats can reveal that type of info. But it happens a lot. I dont think those maps are losing players because people disliking them.

If there is any map people dislike, it would be Harvest day. Stats may say otherwise, but again it could be other factors involved. Maybe there are just so many snipers waiting to play the map it stays full. Because thats what they like.

But I guarantee Oasis is not a bad map. Maybe we lose the snipers on Oasis and they go elswhere. I just dont think the data adds up to what is really taking place.
