Patch FINALLY coming Wednesday

hard to say. I've only been playing on the Lair, forever now. Personally I like the hardcore, and would be more than happy to just see another map in the rotation. Either way I'll play though.

P.S. Server's still about full, at 3:19 Central Time, if that means anything.

Bacon,minerva, myself and one other player were all on one squad and magically the voip was working clear as a bell. Atleast for bacon and myself. Only crap thing about it is you can push the button to talk, and no mic icon shows up showing your transmitting. Maybe next patch.

When it works, it is clear as a bell.

I would love to try modified. Having a minimap would make life much easier.

I have seen a few modified servers, but I haven't tried any yet.

EDIT: it would also be nice to be able to use stationary weapons and the guns in boats without having to guess where you are shooting.

I'm exactly the opposite. I always talk into the VOIP as if it is working perfectly.

+1. This game has conditioned me to not even reach for the key. I was shocked to hear Blackarrow's voice last night, and within 5 minutes I wasn't hearing anything so I don't know if I was talking into dead air or he just wasn't replying.

I do the same thing. Except for a few, like Qicmee, if they aren't replying I figure VOIP is down.

i will typically do a mic check at the start. if i dont get an answer i assume voip is down
