    Oh, one more big difference with vehicles on hardcore--the loss of the HUD means you have no real idea how much health you have left. It didn't make a huge difference yesterday, but I probably bailed out a bit earlier than usual for some quick patches in between missile hits.

      When I first joined, Rand was on my team. I spent one round mostly healing his tank and getting lots of engineering points.

        Is it possible to have the hardcore health/weapons changes, while still having 3D spotting and a minimap? I *really* hate playing without spotting and minimap.

          What is the new minimum player count in order to score points anyway? It's more than 3 evidently.

                Me and you both, and forget trying to be a medic without the mini-map....

                the answer is "No" HC removes all that stuff.

                  I'd have to say over all I like HC mode now. Although spotting is kinda pointless. Also I have to say firing from vehicle secondary positions is harder without a cross hair.

                      I wish they would. Unfortunately, it kinda defeats the purpose of hardcore, I guess.

                      I wish we could go back to vanilla, but understand why we can't. I was surprised at how much fuller the server stays now that it is HC.
