I have two game keys. One is a promo key where I guess I was supposed to get some unlocks. Where do type this key to get it to work?

When you open the multi player menu the very bottom choice is redeem code, open that it goes in there.

Login, go to multiplayer and click on "Redeem Code" a screen will pop up and enter the code.

Yes but at least now he has a visual and it will can be used to others as well.
