I researched them when my wife interviewed for a job. If I remember right they own Pearl vision and the Sears vision centers as well as at least one other major retailer. They own just about every major fashion label as well as Ray Ban and Oakley.

It's worse then that. Walmart & CostCo are big enough to provide some serious competition. Otherwise, on-line ordering will get you some good discounts.
