There appears to be some of this, but it's not as distinct as in BF2. Part of the problem looks related to the disabling system. I've disabled tanks and they still took 3 hits to finally destroy. I need more observation to see if I can disable different parts--tracks are clear and easy to disable, main guns something else entirely.Originally posted by NateTheBrewer View PostI hope the model has differing damage zones like the previous games... The BF3 tanks definitely take more damage to the rear plate from other tank shots than either the BF2 or BC2 counterparts. I've hit the turret join and front treads multiple times to judge damage, but not enough data yet. I'm not even going to try a bounce shot (like in BF2) unless I've got an empty tank to shoot up or am confirming someone else's statement that it works--the early tank perks are auto applied and tanks are too evenly matched at the moment to know just how much leeway one has before esplodin'.

There are icons for both ammo and health on the mini-map, and there's a context-sensitive pop-up that says something like "default key (mine is Q): Request (or Offer) ammo/health.Originally posted by juneau View PostNice!! Lots of campers. No kill cam. (I like the kill cam since I hate campers and very soon, if not already, people are going to find camping spots where no one will ever know where you are).

We were actually talking about this in the TS channel last night, and all feel that it should very much (almost HAS) to be corrected in the first patch. Most of us are lamenting the inability to practice with something new, like flying.

Yeah but there's not actually a "need ammo" button... which is something they're forgetting. Also I've noticed a ton of people don't revive. I always revive as a medic if I can.
