sweet. What vid card/s are you running?Originally posted by K PhaNTOM View PostI have to get vSynch on. I need a smooth game. I think I can do it. I was doing ultra with fraps on at 60FPS and it didn't move at all even through the highest and most detailed places in Caspian. I didn't even overclock my CPU yet, I bet I can get it a good 4.5Ghz on this cooler.

umm yeah, you should have no problem running on Ultra. Hopefully nVidia will have updated drivers and SLI profile for you on launch.Originally posted by K PhaNTOM View PostSli'd 580's 15% factory overclock (I can overclock the 580's to 950Mhz from 852Mhz, Stock clock 772Mhz). This is however a CPU game. 2600K.

At first, high at 1680 x 1056 to see how it is.
Then start OCing if I need or move up and check out Ultra. But I will not sacrifice smoothness just for some eye-candy.
But after this comparison, high is still going to look pretty damn good (and a lot better than my current BC2 settings in widows xp).

LUCKY... hope they fixed the HUD that Shultzy was having with the beta. He didn't have any HUD with the 3 screens.Originally posted by The_Needle View PostGah, couldnt take it. Just ordered 3 of these ViewSonic VG2436wm 24" Wide LED
.
Sad sad panda. Now I need to get rid of my SLI'd 465's and upgrade those, sigh.

You better OC that 2500k!!!! It is so easy. just up the multi! At that res, you may be able to run @ ultra with good framesOriginally posted by Bon3z View PostAt first, high at 1680 x 1056 to see how it is.

Oh, I plan on it. Although I think the bottleneck is going to be the card and OCing the CPU won't get me a whole lot. I'll try OCing the card too, but I don't know how much will be left after the factor OCing. Although the "Classified" EVGA is supposedly a bit better hardware-wise than their regular 570 and superclocked 570. We'll see.Originally posted by slice View PostYou better OC that 2500k!!!! Well @ the resolution you are playing at, the GPU is a little less of an issue. I do not think you will have to bother OCing your GPU much. I think you will be golden.Originally posted by Bon3z View PostOh, I plan on it. Although I think the bottleneck is going to be the card and OCing the CPU won't get me a whole lot.
