I think EA/DICE really screwed themselves by using old code in the beta. If they used a more polished version I think sales would be better. Even though it was a beta, game developers recently have used open beta as a demo period to interest potential customers.
With the way things were in the beta they should have had a second open beta, or a free demo period before 10/25. As it stands now a lot of lost customers think the beta was a reflection of the retail version, and are no longer interested.
For me, I don't care. I pre-ordered the first day it was possible, like back in April or something. I'll be playing no matter what, because I'm a BF fanboy.Comment
