In-game VOIP?

Teamspeak 3 Sync synchronizes your Bad Company 2 server with a Teamspeak 3 server, moving players into their respective channels on Teamspeak dependent on the player's team in Bad Company 2.
The plugin also allows you to "yell" at players who are not in your Teamspeak server, yet playing on your Bad Company 2 server.
All parameters for the plugin are described in the plugins details tab.

Any idea if this will be compatible or developed for use in BF3 servers? I imagine so (eventually) if there's no VOIP at release...Originally posted by Cain View PostTeamspeak 3 Sync synchronizes your Bad Company 2 server with a Teamspeak 3 server, moving players into their respective channels on Teamspeak dependent on the player's team in Bad Company 2.

It's confirmed, no in-game VOIP at launch, from here: http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/battlefield-3/1199753p1.htmHopefully that last bit about evolving down the road means they're going to put in a BF2-like system later... I can only hope!GameSpy: The beta didn't support in-game VOIP; players had to form a party through battlelog to be able to chat just to their party. Will Battlefield 3 include in-game VOIP – be it squad or team based – at launch?
Lars: No, on PC this (battlelog) is what we're going to ship with. Then we're going to evaluate how we move forward with this. It's something we've heard from the community, it's something we understand. At the same time, building a game of this size, you can't win all of the battles. The convenience of going in with friends with your party VOIP channel and keep it even after the game, is definitely a strength. That's just the start – we can definitely evolve from there down the road.

It might be a day or two after release before it's ready for BF3, however, due to the similarities between the BC2 and BF3 rcon, the current TS3 plugin may may work as is.

Yes, there is. Save the server in your teamspeak bookmarks, then in your manage bookmarks window highlight the saved server and click the More button in the bottom left. Then, just above the OK/Cancel/Apply buttons, there will be a "Connect on Startup" checkbox. Check it, hit OK, restart teamspeak.Originally posted by goldenfooler View Postis there a way for it to log onto ts.cainslair.com when you start up team speak?
I can't find any setting for it.
