Uploading Pictures

I'm trying to upload a picture to the web site but it tells me I'm over my quota how do you make the pictures small enough to upload I see lots of pictures posted so I must need to do something.

Make sure your pic is in jpeg format, not bitmap.

As far as making them smaller, I use macromedia fireworks for that sort of thing. It makes gif images too. Or you could just open up your pic with MS paint and just crop it to the dimensions you want.

Personally I use Photobucket or my own domain for hosting pictures. That way you can size any way you like (for the most part with Photobucket)

I have my own in house pic server (gallery) but it basically does the same thing that photobucket does...

I sometimes use imageshack.us to resized them to 640x480 (for message boards).
