More details please, heh. What kind of update did it do? Was it an update of an extension? A theme? A Firefox update? What version of Firefox are you running? What are you trying to copy and paste? What's the exact error message that you are receiving? Where are you trying to copy and paste from... a website, a popup of some kind, the address bar?

      Sorry for lack of info.

It's version 2.0.0.16. As far as the update, it just said it was a firefox update.

It just tells me that copy/cut/paste is not available in Mozilla and Firefox.

I'm trying to copy one recipe that I have stored from one site to another.

Maybe it just has to do w/ the site because I can copy and paste it to here

Want to give me the link to the site? I still have FF2 installed and mine updated also. No copy/paste problems from what i have seen though.

I don't know if it would make it easier for me to give you my user names and passwords juneau but let me know.

I don't know if it matters either but I'm not using the control + c, I'm just highlighting what I want and then copy.

No issues with the site and copying/pasting with Firefox 3. Unfortunately I no longer have Firefox 2 installed anymore. You may honestly just want to upgrade to Firefox 3 in any case, it's a heck of a lot nicer, and you might wipe out that little issue in the process. Other than that, I'm guessing it's a corrupt file somewhere or a Firefox 2 issue with that website. Could also be something in your cookies or temp files. Have you tried deleting them?

Ok, I went and got Firefox 3. I can copy from the one page but can't paste to the next. From the error box, I get this link:

What's the worst that can happen? Besides there are very easy constructions to follow.

I give up. I tried in IE 7 before I went and changed anything and it's the cafe mom site. I can't find the folder that it says to change the name in so I'll just have to retype it all out. No biggie.. Thanks for all the help
