WT I don't know what you are using for your core temps but I have found Real Temp to be accurate.

Real Temp reported the same incorrect numbers as Speedfan, and it is a known issue with the eVGA 750 board. Like I mentioned, they aren't ALL wrong, just a few, but its the first time I've seen the numbers so grossly inaccurate.
Everest actually reports the right temps, and an eVGA forum mod recommended owners use that to get their temps.
I do notice my fan noise a bit more, but I should have checked on the case temp numbers using Everest instead of guessing I was OK. I dropped 8c just by increasing the case fan speeds. I did try for 3.6ghz, but it locked going into Windows. That's at stock on the voltages, but I have the highest VCC for those quads, so its pointless to throw more voltage at it just to gain an extra 100 mhz.Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one man's life could be worth, well I wonder what would happen to this world ? - Harry Chapin
