    dude quick time will play avi's or you could get the free dr divx and convert the avi to a divx or you can use that rad tool to convert it directly to a wmv

      Freak goto divx.com dl the latest Codec...then in SUPER convert your .mov to an .avi using the DIVX Codec it will work and it is fast

        ... ok i will try to clarify what i said earlier. I got the file converted to .avi so i'm good. For some reason my computer will not hold the avi file.

        i also have already used super and that is how i got to avi

        The file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner.YOUR-09F6CB889E\My Documents\My Videos\DSCN3904.avi.AVI cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

        that is exactly what it says if you ahve anymore ideas

            yeah thats what i was trying to say earlier. i probably wasn't doing a very good job though

                If your converting to AVI i'd prefer to use the Xvid codec. A lot better quality than Divx.
