    Monitor stand

    I have this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001096

The stand that accompanies it is garbage. It doesn't allow for any tilting up and down and it's not level (I have a folded piece of paper under one side of the stand to level it).

Is there another stand solution to this problem? Are the stands proprietary to the monitors themselves?

    According to that newegg link,

    Stand Adjustments Swivel & Tilt
I'd send it back tbh. Especially as it's not level.

Send it back and be sure to fill out a review on NewEgg about your problem with this product.

The problem is that it doesn't tilt down far enough.

I would also like to note that I thought the 'thumbs down' thread symbol was actually a question mark.

You should have sent it back straight away under the distance selling act.... if you have that.

The problem is simple. The stand for the model I have doesn't tilt down far enough for my liking. (I was mistaken initially. The stand does tilt up from its current position which does me no good.)

Can I use another stand or mounting device?

                      I really doubt it tbh.
