Thanks to all who have helped me select the parts for this machine. I wont be able to build this thing for a couple of weeks because it's supposed to be a surprise. I did pull everything out of the box and I snapped a pic though.

The IDE cable is red and the shrink wrap and EZ Wrap are colored UV red. I may put some of the UV wrap on the big cable depending on how it looks. One thing that is different from my other mother board is the place where the IDE cable plugs into. It will be more visible then I expected.

Where is the CPU?

He's using his old CPU from his current PC, as he had bought the Q9450 chip to drop into his rig. Nice chip, and the pink monster is more than enough PC for what she plans on doing with it.

The CPU is in the little black box on top of the PSU. It's the OEM box that the Q9450 was in. It now houses my E6600.

@WT I hope its enought she has been patient with the 8 year P3 and its slow speed. Her only other PC is a laptop that her father bought and gave to her after he discovered that buying a laptop that was Vista Certified with only 512 Mb of RAM was a bad idea. This one should be much faster.
