    Gaming Keyboard

Just thought I'd pop this in there for those who are in the market for a serious gaming keyboard.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I GIVE TO YOU....The ULTIMATE COD4 KEYBOARD!

    The Wolfking Timber Wolf

they only give it a 6 out of ten in the review

      Yep.

From several reviews, the reason it gets a less than expected rating is because of the everyday practical use. The fact is that not everyone plays games with their pc at least 50% of the time they use it. For practical purposes it is not what people want for everyday use.

I actually have the version without the keyboard. just the gaming pad part. I could never get comfy on it and gave it to my son.

Its a pretty good concept for the avid gamer though...would be nice if there were a store you could try it out to see what it's like

Yes.. unfortunately.. compUSA went down. That SUCKS! If you were fortunate enough to walk into one after they announced it, you would have been the fortunate soul to pick up this keyboard among other awesome goodies at REALLY discounted prices.. without the mail in rebate crap.

I've thought about those (either with or without the keyboard). I have a Belkin N52 right now, and I've wondered how they compare.

if you're used to the belkin I think you should stick with it.

I've bought all kinds of goofy gaming ad ons over the years and always ended up back at the standard mouse and keyboard. There's still a z-board fang plugged into my gaming rig but it never gets used.

i've never found a use for extra buttons or anything on a keyboard... never. however, a good mouse is a must.

                        Here are a few others.

This is the one like the first one I mentioned in this thread. This one doesn't have the whole keyboard, just the round gaming pad:

I think I am going to get one of these to try out.

The Wolf King Warrior and Cybersnipa both look promising. One reason I dislike using keyboards (even of the gaming kind) is that the keys are staggered. It is easier for me when the keys are lined up (like they are in the Belkin N52 and the Wolf King Warrior).

One thing that would be a nice function with a gaming pad, like some of the console controllers, is a automatic function which will perform the key stroke repeatedly while holding it down.

Personally I'd like to have a mouse with a repeater function so that weapons like the pistol, or the single fire weapons become fully automatic. THAT would add a bit of an advantage for something like the Desert Eagle, or the G3.

there actually is a mouse like that. I'll take a look and find the link. the reason I was saying to stick with the n52 if you already have it is becaus eit does have programmable software. the wolf king warrior does not.
