    Best Air Cooling for CPUs

I still prefer air cooling for my CPUs, for several reasons.

IF you also prefer air cooling, keep reading. I've uses the Cooler Master EVO 212 on numerous builds. If you've used one you know it is a HUGE pain to install, and is usually a two person project. Also it presses so hard on the CPU I've always worried about damaging the CPU.

For my last several builds (and all future builds) I now use the Noctua CPU Cooler and they are nothing short of amazing - in performance & design, and are just about as easy to install as the stock cooling CPU fans.

They make it in two basic sizes, I've used both and love both, simply use the one that fits your case.

Here are the links to these two CPU coolers, have fun!

Sorry, but I like the Corsair H2O series. Currently I have the H115i with a 280mm cooler. It cools extremely well and is silent. The large fans move more air at a slower speed, which keeps everything cool. Along with my Cooler Master HAF case I only know my computer is on because of the lights.

I know you're a liquid guy. I'm still afraid of liquid and I hear the pumps running.

I have been running Corsair Hydro Series CPU Coolers since they were first released. I have used them in my computers, Chris's computers and the computers I have built for my store. I have never had a single problem of any kind, including leaks. I am sitting next to my computer right now and I can not hear the pump nor the case fans. I can hear the air coming out of airconditioning vents though.

Noctura makes so nice fans for sure, I have a big OC and air would do it so I have a EVGA CLC that works great. I also set up a nice fan curve so most of my fans dpn't run unless I'm gaming. Less dust.
