Dlink DIR 651 default password is not taking

Okay, this is strange, working a brand new DIR 651 D-link router and you know how it says the default user is "Admin" and the pass is left blank.....well, it's not saying it's a valid password and I'm unable to access the configuration screen for the router ('tis greyed out)

Anyone reason why?

try the routers serial number, some of the more 'creative' companies have done that method with some models.
and mind it might be case sensitive, so watch your A and a's.

I assume you tried 'admin' lowercase, odd to have Admin
and usual password, admin, passwords.
