Does anyone know how to fix computer speakers? They're making really odd noises. Have to deal with it until I get my headset next week.
Kinda old speakers made by Insignia. Bought them years ago.

You don't fix speakers. You throw them out and replace them with speakers that cost less.

The noise cold be coming from the wires so reroute those and check the connections.

Try plugging them into a different device (like an mp3 player) and see if the noises persist. If they do not, you may need a sound card (in the case of on-board) or a new sound card. Electricity noise is prominent on cruddy on-board systems.
