I hope they do. I use an SSD as an OS only drive. But I would love to have everything on SSDs!

I think the current SSD tech would need to change quite a bit for them to be useful with storage drives. That should be a direction they should head though in future advancements.

Oh they are! IBM has a copper technology that will replace SSD in a year or two.
