My Mouse saga

I have been trying you years to find a mouse that I like as much, or better than my trusty Logitech MX518.

I just can't do it !!

Yesterday I bought a G400, and I do not like it at all...

I think I'll buy an extra MX518 before they become too scarce....

I have the G500 and the mx518. Finger and hold styles are the same. Scroll wheel changed for the better and the sides are now matte textured. I would try this one out Cain. It also gives you a few more buttons then the MX518. Your scroll wheel has a right and left as well as the push down feature.

I am looking forward to seeing how the right and left on the scroll works with hotkeying the knife and gernades on BF3.

+1 I have used the 518 for years, the G500 is a great replacement. My favorite feature is the unlockable scroll wheel, drop buy a BB and test one out.

518 is def a winner, ive looked at many others but never really liked them.

I ended up bring my 518 to work and using with my left hand because of placement and wrist problems. Use the 500 for the home and gaming on the right hand. It seems the 500 is a faster and more accurate mouse, but that just may be me.

im getting the g500 aswell.. just cause its got a good feel to them and the sensitivity changer

I had a MX518 as well, it was a great mouse. So great, I bought my (now ex) wife one as well.

Then it died, after about 4 years of use. I replaced it with a G500. Best mouse I have ever used. More comfortable, doesn't have the DPI skipping issues the MX700 (wireles) and the MX518 I had.

Great mouse. G500 gets my vote.

I have a G500 too, my old G5 couldnt take the strain anymore.
I use the wheel side movements to reload and throw nades.

Another MX518 owner here. Everything else is just .. not as good.
