    USB 3.0 speeds?

    Hello!

I recently brought an usb 3.0 PCI-E card: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS U3S6

Are these speeds ok? I think there are a bit low...
    I hoped for 120 MB/s while reading.

WD MyPassport ESE 1 TB via USB3.0: http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digita...9282577&sr=8-1

ADATA USB Stick 16 GB via USB3.0: http://www.amazon.com/ADATA-Flash-Dr...9282669&sr=1-6

I'm using this card in a PCI-E x16 slot already to maximise performance.

USB 3.0 is for the most part 2.5 times faster than regular USB. You should get about 80MB Read and 50-60MB write.

I may have all-around bad news for you.
      1. Are those USB 3.0 devices? If not, then you shouldn't get any better performance connecting them to a USB 3 controller.

      2. If it is a x1 card, using a x16 slot won't help.

        1. They are all 3.0 devices
        2. It's a PCI-E x4 card + SATA connection
